Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information ScratchPadIt collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

What We Collect

ScratchPadIt collects two categories of information: your note content (handled entirely on your device and iCloud account) and anonymous usage analytics (described below).

• All notes and text you write are stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework.
• We do not have access to the content you write in the app.
• We do not collect your name, email address, or location through the app itself.

iCloud Sync

If you use iCloud sync, your data is transmitted to and stored in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. SwiftVisions LLC does not have access to data stored in your iCloud account.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

ScratchPadIt uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. This helps us understand how the app is used and identify stability issues.

The following types of data are collected:

• Usage events — anonymous actions such as adding a page, changing a preference, or using a feature. No note content is ever included in these events.
• Crash reports — technical information about app crashes, including device type, OS version, app version, and a stack trace. This data does not include note content or personally identifiable information.
• Device identifiers — a hashed device serial number is used solely to distinguish unique devices in aggregate counts. It is not linked to your identity.
• App and build version, locale — included with each event to help diagnose version-specific issues.

Analytics are disabled in debug builds of the app. Data collected through Firebase is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Firebase may process data on servers outside your country of residence.

We do not use analytics data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties beyond Google's role as a data processor.

In-App Purchases

Any in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment information.

Contact Form

If you use the contact form on our website to reach us, you provide your name, email address, and message voluntarily. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and do not share it with any third parties.

Children's Privacy

ScratchPadIt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
